Tau Veterinary Cardiology

and Consulting LLC

Tau Veterinary Cardiology and Consulting provides exceptional, affordable, state-of-the-art care to the beloved pets of our clients residing throughout Kansas and neighboring states.

“Our primary focus is on patient/client service.”

Although traditional veterinary service has not changed much since Dr. Thomason’s graduation from veterinary school in 2002, Tau Veterinary Cardiology challenges conventional thinking to create a unique experience for the patient/client that sets us apart from other veterinary cardiology services.

Clients are invited to be present during the entire appointment. This helps us:

  • Be more efficient (less waiting time for clients)

  • Provide better client communication in regards to the diagnosis/therapy (face-to-face interaction with the cardiologist)

  • Provide fear-free visits (most patients are more comfortable with clients being present so we don’t have to sedate)

  • Demonstrate our love for animals and clients

  • Provide a valuable service

  • Provide excellent patient care

In addition, we reduce the cost of follow-up evaluations to aid pet owners in returning for recheck appointments, which helps us provide better long-term patient care.

Clients are educated on the use of the Cardalis application to monitor sleeping respiratory rate, and, if elevated, can email/call the cardiologist for medication adjustments. This model has created the most efficient service that provides excellent patient/client care and has a solid reputation as demonstrated by Cardiology Pet Owner Feedback Benchmarking Report (NPS grade of 94% compared to industry average of 77%).
